My journey started in my late teens when I began to search for something to fix me from feeling broken. I began with understanding what “feeling broken” is. In my initial years, the path of yoga laid strong foundations for me in using it as a tool for Darshana(self-reflection).  Investing my time with this tool and learning to teach, helped me uncover the superficial layers for trauma I carried. That’s when I came across Reiki in 2017 and learnt to practice the first 2 levels. Being pulled into corporate life, to thrive in life and support family, I continued my practice part-time and taught yoga at community centers.

By 2021, taking a break year from my relationships and work, I realized that my search never fixed my feeling of brokenness on the inside. I began to set out on a new journey starting with a solo himalayan trek. I encountered anxiety, childhood trauma, suppressed and almost dead inner child voice, internalized body shaming, deep mother and father wounds, toxic conditioning of societal patterns. This path led me to a new energy healing modality, Magnified Healing and Sound Healing with singing bowls. I began practicing both everyday for myself and my family. I was moved by the healing brought to the soul that was suffering in so much pain.

 

As a part of this journey, I found a way to forgive my mother and found my own inner mother. I was able to find compassion and have conversations with my inner child. I am still in this journey today, as I find myself in the beautiful process of experiencing the divine feminine energies through pregnancy and continue working on internalized body shame.This is me, Akshaya, I am a blessed being of mother earth and the universe.

 

Expanding My Abilities

I met many friends on this journey, one friend who stood out was Lakshmi Gunasekaran. Like me, they were also on a parallel journey in the path of healing and our paths met through Tarot. I am proud to say I learnt to read Tarot from them and we facilitate Tarot Study Circles together. I believe reading Tarot for myself and many other clients has driven me deeper into this path.

My Intentions

As a daughter of mother earth and the universe, I have received grace, compassion and divine blessings to heal and continue healing myself. As a form of my gratitude, I intend to hold space for anyone on their healing paths, share what I have learnt and offer my skills to support many more lovely beings on their path to reaching their higher self.
